Webify – From Start to Cart

Webify is a three-week series designed to take your business online. By the end of the three-week series, you will launch your store online and you will be provided an opportunity to show off your work.

This program consists of six – 2-hour online group sessions, combined with 1:1 follow- up sessions. Group sessions will meet every Monday and Thursday weeks to give you the concepts, tools, and guidance to establish your business online, launch your store, and start selling. In between each session you will have individual sessions with an expert consultant. We will apply these sessions to the group sessions to your business and site specifically. During the last group session, you will be provided the opportunity to present your business to the group, consultants, and investors.

  • Session A: Mondays and Thursdays, February 8-26 | 10 AM-12 PM
  • Session B: Mondays and Thursdays, February 8-26 | 6 PM-8 PM

Your Business – February 8th

You’ve got a product, service, or idea you want to sell. Is it a viable idea that deserves your time to grow it into a business? Who are you targeting with this idea? Can you make money with it? This session will endeavor to answer these questions and give you the tools you need to start laying the groundwork for your online store.

Your Brand – February 11th

Selling online takes more than a great product at a great price. People need a reason to buy from you; they want to connect with you. This session concentrates on building the foundations of your brand and applying it to your store and products.

Your Store – February 15th

It’s time to start building your online store. We will begin to implement what we have learned and created over the past two sessions, in our 1:1’s, and get you signed up, activated on Shopify, and begin to build out your online presence.

Your Products – February 18th

Add the pieces that drive your business, we’re going to teach you how to upload products into your site, build-out and customize your product pages, organize those products into collections, and create navigation that allows customers to easily find what they are looking for.

Pre-Launch – Shopify – February 22nd

Your store is built, your products are organized, you’re almost ready to go. Now we’re going to address the most important parts of your online store: making sure your customers can check out, get their orders shipped, and that you get paid. We will walk you through selecting a payment provider, set up taxes for your region, go through checkout options, basic shipping options, and fulfillment procedures. Additionally, we will go over notifications and communicating with your customers through email.

Your Launch – February 25th

Each participant will have the chance to share about their store. Introduce part 2 of the series where we will work on getting your store in front of your target customers and getting sales made.
