This Request for Proposals (RFP) is being issued from the OCIE SBDC hosted by California State University, Fullerton (CSUF ASC), which, through a shared cooperative agreement with the United States Small Business Administration (SBA), serves as host to the Orange County Inland Empire Lead Center. This RFP aims to utilize a competitive process to leverage resources and partnerships to ensure the most significant outcomes for the small business community while ensuring accountability, transparency, and impact for the state and federal taxpayer dollars used to fund the program.
The Technology-Focused SBDC shall provide services, which include but will not be limited to; one-on-one consulting, technical assistance, and training. This SBDC focuses on working with technology-focused businesses or businesses that are highly scalable and seeking equity capital, including but not limited to Angel Investment, Venture Capital Funds, Strategic Partnerships, Acquisitions, SBIR/STTR, opportunities for commercialization, and other forms of investment. A typical SBDC Techcenter can assist clients with addressing their business plan, understanding their market, creating financials, and preparing for an equity capital raise. An SBDC Tech center should provide the needed services sought by the local community.
