Marketplace Series: Food Vendor Edition
This HYBRID Series is designed to provide food vendors with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in a variety of marketplace settings, such as farmers’ markets, street fairs, and other public events.
At completion of the program, the top participants from the cohort will be invited to be participate in a local Marketplace!!

HYBRID PROGRAM SCHEDULE (Please Note the In-Person Dates and Times)
- Class 1 (Online): Sept 30, 6 – 8 p.m. Food and DEH Permitting
- Class 2 (Online): Oct 7 , 6 – 8 p.m. Health Permits and Food Safety
- Class 3 (In-Person): Oct 14, 6 – 8 p.m. Compliance
- Class 4 (Online): Oct 21, 6 – 8 p.m. Finance and Taking Payments
- Class 5 (Online): Oct 28, 6 – 8 p.m. Marketing for the Marketplace
- Class 6 (In-Person): Nov 4, 6 – 8 p.m. -Dominating the Marketplace
To be considered for a spot at the Marketplace, participants must attend ALL classes and meet with one 1:1 with an OCIE SBDC consultant to track progress.
