This HYBRID Series is designed to provide food vendors with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in a variety of marketplace settings, such as farmers’ markets, street fairs, and other public events.
At completion of the program, the top participants from the cohort will be invited to participate in a local Marketplace!

HYBRID PROGRAM SCHEDULE (Please Note the In-Person Dates and Times)
- Class 1 (Online): Jan 14, 6 – 8 p.m. Food and DEH Permitting
- Class 2 (Online): Jan 21 , 6 – 8 p.m. Health Permits and Food Safety
- Class 3 (In-Person): Jan 28, 6 – 8 p.m. Compliance
- Class 4 (Online): Feb 4, 6 – 8 p.m. Finance and Taking Payments
- Class 5 (Online): Feb 11, 6 – 8 p.m. Marketing for the Marketplace
- Class 6 (In-Person): Feb 18, 6 – 8 p.m. Dominating the Marketplace
To be considered for a spot at the Marketplace, participants must attend ALL classes and meet with one 1:1 with an OCIE SBDC consultant to track progress.
