Building a Wellness Community: Earth Haven Opens in Corona

From fresh juices to movement, Earth Haven is creating a space for wellness in Corona.

For years, Yadira Ortega and her daughter Yasmin built a loyal following in the local wellness community through From The Earth Bowls, offering fresh juices, smoothies, and bowls through catering and farmers markets. As their customer base grew, they saw an opportunity to bring their wellness-focused offerings to the community in a new way.

That vision became Earth Haven, a new wellness center in Corona where customers can purchase the juices they know and love, while also taking part in yoga and Pilates classes.

Turning a Growing Business Into a New Location

Moving from farmers markets and pop-ups into a dedicated storefront brought new opportunities, along with a new set of challenges. Yadira worked with the Orange County Inland Empire Small Business Development Center (OCIE SBDC) to navigate the licensing and permitting process required to open the new location.

Through one-on-one consulting with her SBDC consultant Yadira Dominguez, Yadira also received guidance on pricing strategies, marketing, website development, and ideas for successfully launching and promoting the expanded business.

For Yadira, having a dedicated consultant to turn to throughout the process was one of the most valuable parts of the experience. “Navigating this journey with their guidance has helped us a lot,” she said. The one-on-one support gave her a place to ask questions as they came up and receive practical guidance tailored to her business.

Opening the Doors to Earth Haven

With support from the SBDC, Yadira officially started Earth Haven on August 19, 2026. With its storefront now open, Earth Haven is bringing together the products and services its customers have come to know with new opportunities to support their wellness goals.

Looking back on the process, Yadira credits the guidance she received from the SBDC with helping her move forward with confidence.

“Working with Yadira D. and Wyeth has been a blessing. They walked us through obtaining permits, creating a website, content, and marketing, and so much more. We are very thankful for them and the services they offer.”

For Earth Haven, opening a dedicated location represents the next step in a business that has grown through its connection with the local wellness community. What began with smoothies and juices has now expanded into a safe space for customers to gather and develop their best selves.
