A seven-week hybrid program for aspiring and established beauty professionals looking to elevate their business potential.

The purpose of this program is to help you explore options toward starting and owning your own beauty business.
This program is offered in partnership with Sola Salons and Advance Beauty College, and will be presented in both English and Vietnamese.
Beauty Boss is for you if you are a beauty professional who would like to offer one or more of the following services in launching or expanding your business:
- Hair services
- Barbering services
- Manicuring services
- Lash services
- Eyebrow services
- Makeup services
- Skincare services
During the program, you will accelerate your path toward launching your business as you identify if entrepreneurship is a good fit for you, learn what it takes to start your business, and more. We will also cover in detail:
- Setting up and launching your business
- Obtaining your licenses and permits
- Leveraging market research
- Putting together your business plan
- Understanding financial projections and aligning them with your goals
- Identifying and targeting new customers
- Sizing up your competition
- Standing out in a crowded market
- Developing your menu of services and price points
- Understanding leases and contracts
- Learning about location and space types
- Setting up CRM and payment systems
The program concludes with an in-person graduation showcase on Saturday, May 16. This event provides participants with a platform to showcase their brands and services, capture professional marketing content, and network with industry peers. Additionally, those who complete all sessions and attend the showcase will receive exclusive perks from Sola Salons across Orange County.
This is a HYBRID program — some sessions will be delivered online, and others will be held in person. Please take note of the program schedule below:
