Congratulations to our client, ALEPH GROUP, Inc, for being recognized by the Small Business Administration (SBA) as “California Exporter of the Year”.

Jales A. De Mello founded and serves as President and CEO of Aleph Group Inc., which he launched in Riverside, California.  Aleph Group Inc. designs and manufactures specialty vehicles and mobile units for the medical, dental, law enforcement, and blood center clients, as well as creating custom mobile units for other industries. AGI manufactures mobile units such as; mobile clinics, mobile dental units, mobile command centers, bloodmobiles, mobile offices, mobile kitchens and an assortment of other specialty vehicles.

Charity and community are deeply rooted in Mr. Mello’s values. He is actively involved in his community by devoting time and resources to local non-profit entities, organizing fundraising events and supporting local Rotary activities.  Among the things close to his heart is the teaching of weekly meditation classes at a Riverside homeless shelter.

Mr. Mello’s desire to do more for his community is the power behind his recent initiative called Feeding Angels.  Feeding Angels was created by Mr. Mello in May/2014, with a purpose to fight against child hunger.

Despite the growth and expansion of his organization (AGI), Mr. Mello’s philosophy of business which is based on family values and building relationships, has not changed. The company is currently exporting its medical, dental and security vehicles to over 18 Countries in addition to its current domestic Government and Private clients. Aleph Group Inc. currently employs 28 dedicated team members.

Mr. Mello first met with Karla V. Gonzalez, IE SBDC Business Consultant, over five (5) years ago to get guidance and assistance on contracting and expanding to new markets. Since the first initial meeting, Mr. Mello and Karla meet regularly to go over the progress and expansion of AGI.

As a result of meeting with Karla, AGI has garnered federal and state certifications to conduct business with government agencies. Mr. Mello has also successfully achieved increased sales and business success, which has generated new jobs in Riverside.
