New Gadget to Display your Facebook Popularity to the World

Smiirl has developed a fun way to display your Facebook “Likes” and “Fans” statistics in the physical world in real-time.  The Fliike is a “five-digit flip-counter” that connects to Facebook via Wi-Fi and shows the growth of your Facebook popularity as it becomes actual.  As stated by Moynihan, who reviewed this gadget for Wired.com, for those who “…like flip-flap clocks [and] social networking…”, this gadget may be a nice addition to your desk.  Priced at $390, as noted by Moynihan, Fliike is a “useful bragware” gadget; yet if it linked to other social media, this gadget could become a great addition to social media marketing.
